Inspiration - NR Classic
Our first ever shirt design and our original logo created in 2020! When the pandemic hit and everyone was under lockdown, the founder of No Restrictions realized just how important powerlifting was for her mental health. The sport was what saved her from herself and poof, it was gone with no way to predict when it would come back.
No Restrictions was launched with the mission to encourage powerlifting athletes to speak up about their mental health and to help others feel less alone. The snake symbolizes rebirth and healing, and the lightning bolts at the mouth symbolize the power of speaking up about one's mental health. No Restrictions is named after the founder's past struggle with anorexia nervosa as a vow to never set any restrictions on who you can be.
