Shipping Policy

GENERAL INFORMATION: We ship worldwide!

Ready-to-Ship:

Shipping is calculated by the total weight of the items using Canada Post's calculated rates.

Orders are shipped (aka dropped off at our local postal office) within 2-5 days. We are a small business, thank you for your understanding!

Made-to-Order:

A made-to-order product is put into fabrication once you place your order. This is a more sustainable approach to fashion since only what is needed is produced. Made-to-order products are shipped from our other supplier* directly to you. Items will be shipped between 2-5 business days but delivery times will vary widely, typically between 1-2 weeks. During busier seasons such as the holidays, please expect your shipment to arrive later than expected.

Purchased a combination of product types?

Shipping is calculated as the sum of the shipping rates for the made-to-order and ready-to-ship products. Your order will arrive in multiple packages.

Taxes and Duties:

All Canadian purchases are subject to the appropriate GST/HST of the destination province. Orders with delivery addresses outside of Canada are not subject to Canadian sales tax. This applies to all products we sell.

However, any customs duties and local sales taxes charged by the destination country will be the purchaser’s responsibility.

About Our Suppliers:

We work with a local screen printing shop located in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia for screen printed, ready-to-ship products and go in-person to pick up our inventory, reducing carbon emissions and supporting our local economy.

*Our other supplier used for made-to-order products has factories located around the world, including, but not limited to Canada and USA. Depending on where the delivery address is, the supplier closest to you fulfills and ships your order directly to you. This allows for cheaper shipping (if not combined with ready-to-ship items, see "Purchased a combination of product types?" above). We use the services of a printing company with multiple factories to fulfill our orders for us to keep up with the demand of orders. Our profit comes from the difference between the retail price (what you see on our website) and the cost to manufacture the product, as decided by the company we utilize.

We can say proudly that the supplier mentioned above is a member of Sedex, "one of the world’s leading ethical trade membership organisation[s], working with businesses to improve working conditions in global supply chains." They are committed to anti-slavery or forced labor, which includes prohibiting slavery and human trafficking.

For our They Don't Ride Up! Women's Lifting Shorts, we worked with an overseas manufacturer to custom design and make them. Our factory was chosen for their standards and technological superiority. They do not condone child or forced labor. The shorts an ready-to-ship item and are stocked in-house.
